Market Report 12/15/2008

Pumpkin Swordfish is in the house! These rare pumpkin colored beauties are thought to get their color from naturally occurring carotenes in the shellfish they consume. Treat your customers to these one of a kind markers for a meal they aren't likely to forget!

Check out our hog snapper this week! Coming out of Southern Atlantic waters, these gnarly toothed, snow white fleshed gems are so sweet and delicious they are often referred to as the "crabmeat of the snapper family"!

Ground fish will be in steady supply this week and thankfully, we will see a break in flat fish pricing.

Whole (Refreshed) Halibut and Fletch will be available mid-week! They are great winter menu substitutions for fresh Pacific Halibut, until the season re-opens in March!

Mahi Mahi landings continue to be strong out of the South Atlantic! Priced right, this tasty treat adds a little taste of the tropics during the cold winter months!
